Partner Universities

The partners of the EuroTeQ Engineering University have put together a unique collaborative education model that unites various countries and a broad coalition of industry, society, and educational stakeholders.

Each partner university brings to the alliance its unique strength and together, these universities leverage their combined expertise to drive forward initiatives in research, education, and innovation, aiming to address societal and industrial challenges on a global scale

By leveraging strong bonds between the universities and their regional ecosystems, the initiative aims to enhance engineering programs with new core competencies, transversal skills, and design methodologies.

This approach fosters innovation through diverse perspectives and new learner groups. EuroTeQ initiatives train learners to address societal challenges and real-world questions collaboratively and responsibly, strengthening European values and fostering connections across Europe among young citizens and the community.

CTU has three centuries worth of experience, which does not stop them from obvious enthusiasm for modern and futuristic tech. The technical subjects are taught by people that are not only experts in their fields, but appreciate anyone that shows honest interest. The non-technical subjects teach not what to think, but how to think. The good reputation of CTU graduates with future employers is not a coincidence - it is the main reason why most apply in the first place.

Despite not being a gated area, the atmosphere of the campus and the entire city makes it a friendly, safe, laid back place, that makes it possible to either fully concentrate on the studies without distractions, or live by the "study hard party hard" philosophy... or to alternate them both as situation allows.

At DTU, students, researchers, and industry partners work together to shape a sustainable future, turning ideas into technologies that make a difference in people's lives and contribute to a greener world. We educate engineers who take leadership for sustainable change, and sustainability is a formal and active learning objective in all our educational programs. We foster a dynamic environment where research, education, and industry collaboration converge to address global challenges. We take on a leading role in developing the engineering profession and educate engineers with deep expertise, engagement, and an innovative approach, supported by new and relevant digital learning tools and methods.

École Polytechnique, also referred to as l’X, excels in top-tier research, academics, and innovation, positioning itself at the forefront of science and technology. Widely internationalized, the institution offers a range of highly selective undergraduate and graduate programs, including a Bachelor of Science, the Ingénieur Polytechnicien (Master’s level), Master’s of Science & Technology, PhD, and an Executive Master's degree. The institution fosters a culture of excellence, emphasizing scientific rigor and humanist values, preparing students for leadership roles in their fields.

École Polytechnique is a founding member of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, a world-class Institute of science and technology, which encompasses six prestigious French engineering Schools: École polytechnique, École nationale des ponts et chaussées (ENPC), ENSTA Paris, ENSAE Paris, Télécom Paris, Télécom SudParis.

Paris is a leading European business school and a world-class institution, founded just over 140 years ago, in 1881. Its ambition is to positively impact both businesses and society. With its 4,500 students in degree programs and 70,000 Alumni, this exceptional business school in the Paris ecosystem will be an important asset to bring the EuroTeQ vision alive. HEC Paris expertise in innovation, entrepreneurship and business creation will complement the existing technological expertise of the EuroTeQ consortium and help shape engineering education with marketable impact.

Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) is deeply integrated into the Brainport region, one of Europe’s leading innovation hubs. This strong connection with the industry and ecosystem enhances the educational experience for students with ample opportunities for real-world experience and career advancement. Through Challenge Based Learning that is embedded into the education offered at TU/e, students are prepared to become “future-proof engineers” capable of solving both foreseeable and unforeseeable future problems. This methos of learning also ensures that the engineers we educate are not only excellent engineers, but also strong communicators, who understand that it is imperative to take users and society into account when designing solutions and developing products.

TalTech stands out as a research university that seamlessly integrates science into education and practical applications through collaboration and knowledge transfer. Its campus serves as a smart city testbed, hosting over 50 high-tech companies. At TalTech, we develop self-driving cars, IoT solutions, and other cutting-edge technology projects, addressing future societal needs such as e-governance and cybersecurity. By advancing engineering, IT, and business culture in Estonia and the Baltic Sea region, we ensure the next generation of engineers and foster a technology-driven mindset.

At EPFL, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, innovation in education is at the core of our mission. As an early adopter of MOOCs and with the creation of the Center for Digital Education, EPFL has developed a robust global online learning platform. Project-based learning is supported in particular by the Discovery Learning Laboratories, where students embrace a hands-on, “learning by making” approach to problem-solving and prototyping. The Center for Transversal Skills and Career more globally ensures students develop the interdisciplinary and professional skills needed for real-world impact of engineering, creating an ideal environment for challenge-based learning. Through LEARN, the Center for Learning Sciences, EPFL creates the evidence-basis accompanying the continuous evolution of education. Together, these initiatives reflect EPFL’s commitment to shaping the future of engineering education which is shared across EuroTeQ partner
